You'd Think...

You would think that on a weekend where I was pretty much snowed in and didn't leave the house at all I would have blogged. I did not. Instead I watched many many movies one of which was Leap Year for literally the 10th time in a week.

I recently recieved the news that GC schools are closed tomorrow, plows in neighboring counties have stopped plowing and don't expect to resume until 4am AND winds are expected to countinue until about noon tomorrow. BLIZZARD!

But at this time work is still on for the a.m. I am hoping for a legitimate call off from work, but as last noted my main aka only way out of town to work was drifted closed so unless the sun comes out and the winds cease to be I don't expect to make it to work tomorrow, not worth it. I at least had the foresight to give up my 7am shift so I don't have to be up too terribly early to make an attempt.

At this moment I am watching Roman Holiday (it's in black and white <3) starring my favorite Audrey Hepburn. I don't know why but I have been optimistic and not as cynical about love stories. This is a good thing.

Well I wish everyone safe travels if they must venture out to a soul-less company that puts their employees lives in danger to earn a few bucks, ok that was a little harsh, but everyone be safe. Old Lady if you read this before tomorrow or before you venture out, let me know if you know about the roads or if you'll venture in tomorrow.

"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
— Audrey Hepburn

"Your heart just breaks, that's all. But you can't judge or point fingers. You just have to be lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you."
— Audrey Hepburn

"Pick the day. Enjoy it - to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come... The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present, and I don't want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future." — Audrey Hepburn
