I was Country, when Country wasn't cool.. sort of

It's unknowingly kind of become photo week here on North of 10th. So I'm gonna roll with it. Here for your viewing pleasure is Photo #2 for Random Photo from the archives...

man I wish I could still wear midriff bearing tops

Get the story after the jump...

This photo is circa 1994 HB is age 8.
When I first moved to the big city of GC my sister and I both took tap lessons, this was my outfit for our big recital. We tapped our arses to "Boot Scootin' Boogie" by Brooks and Dunn. <3 Flash forward 16 years and guess who is still shakin it country style (and in real boots none the less)

The next year I expanded my dancing career and took jazz lessons (only difference really is the shoes if you were wondering) this year we were shakin it to "Ease on Down the Road" by Michael Jackson.

all I had on me was this action shot

I also was getting my ballerina on in around '92 (age 6ish, AB is around 4)... you think I'd be more graceful and have a bit more to offer on the dance floor with my extensive dance upbringing ;)
